I did pretty good in the print show. My Flamingo got Best in “Things” in open lab.
And my City Scape got an honorable mention in “Landscapes”, again in Open Lab.
Soon... I will get the certificates, and I'm laminating the shit outa them.

It's for an assignment. This is extremely stressful, how the hell do I do this? I hate craigslist, and am far too awkward to ask someone personally. Quite frustrating...
Photo Trip
Hey all! Been ages, a lot has happened. In one year, 3 of my cats died, and so did my grandmother... so, I went out, bought a Canon 5D Mk. III... then I bought a plane ticket, and am now in Pittsburgh. I always do good work here, and in the 6 hours since I got here, I do believe I already have some fun birds shots to share.
This is my emotional healing, and I think it's doin good for me. I accidentally booked a fancy hotel. It's amazing and scary at the same time, since people keep lookin at me oddly.
Devious Journal Entry
Whelp, I'm finally in actual photography classes. Digital Imaging and Fundamentals of Photography. Maybe I'll stop sucking soon? Good news is, I already have most of the equipment needed for the classes.
In other news, my grandmother isn't doing to well, been trying to take care of her while we get the blood clots out of her lungs and find out what else is wrong.
Moocher passed on yesterday
I just lost one of my cats to, of all things, Feline AIDS(or FIV). I just thought I'd share that it is indeed possible for cats to get it, and that you should have your kittens tested(as kittens that have it may of got immunities from their mother, and thus eliminate the need for testing later). Older cats with a positive test result may need special care. I was unaware of FIV, and it cost my cat his life.
It's most common means of spreading are deep bite wounds, so keep an eye on any marks.
It's hard, and later today I do the testing on the other 4 cats to see if any of them have it as well. But I guess it helps me to spread the word.
